Tent in a Pink Cloud

Tent in a Pink Cloud was an extension of my canvas into three dimensions, using stretcher bars as the tent frame. The tent was made as a home for a reoccurring character in my paintings, Fifi, the external manifestation of the instincts of fight and flight. This temporary shelter was a safe haven both as it stood in my studio, and in the gallery.

Tent in a Pink Cloud was interactive. Visitors were encouraged to take home the energy drinks in the mini fridge, which were wrapped with small paintings of Fifi.
